Ringing in 2012... speakeasy style!

The first few weeks of 2012 have been full of fun and events with friends. Now that I have a little down time I'm excited to share the event design I created for my friend's roaring twenies NYE party! The look I was going for was lots of glamour and glitz but with a dark underground twist - my favorite part was the huge 3' balloons. 30 days of gratitude

Happy Veterans Day! Tuesday evening my spin instructor told our class that she was keeping a gratitude journal for the month of November and challenged us to do the same. I went home, opened a word doc and wrote down one thing I felt thankful for. What a great idea, during the month of thanks, to keep a journal of what we are thankful for. I hope you will join me during the next 30 days and keep a gratitude journal for yourself because at the end of the day, it is gratitude that turns what we have into enough. {Photo credit via}

Transition

It’s official. After 3 ½ amazing years, this weekend I said goodbye to my San Francisco apartment. I’m going to miss my view of Alcatraz and the Bay, watching the sunset over the Golden Gate Bridge from the roof, and my fabulous roommate, Ms. Tasha Anderson. Goodbye city living and hello suburbs. I’m officially in transition for the next few months until I start my next chapter: New York City! Until then, here are some hilarious photos of Tasha and I trying to move my bed on Friday. (Yes, that darn thing got stuck and yes, we had to call some guys to come help us. This is what happens when you live on the 4th floor in an old San Francisco apartment!)

Fall Dinner Party Inspiration

October 16th is my Annual Pumpkin Ravioli Dinner Party (ladies only) so I created this little foodie inspiration board for ideas on what to serve for appetizers, drinks and desserts. I love the idea of caprese on a stick! What a fun and easy appetizer to serve. New York Vacation Photos

Hello NYC!

Greetings from 35,000 feet! It is time for some serious vacay and I am so excited to spend the next 10 days in one of my favorite cities... NYC!
